Abstract
We calculate the ratio of proton and neutron yields in NC induced nu(( nu)over-bar)-nucleus inelastic scattering at neutrino energies of abou t 1 GeV. We show that this ratio depends very weakly on the nuclear mo dels employed and that in nu and (nu)over-bar cases the ratios have di fferent sensitivity to the axial and vector strange form factors; more over the ratio of (nu)over-bar-nucleus cross sections turns out to be rather sensitive to the electric strange form factor. We demonstrate t hat measurements of these ratios will allow to get information on the strange form factors of the nucleon in the region Q(2) greater-than-or -equal-to 0.4 GeV2.
