Abstract
The studying of the adsorption of polyasparagine (PAg) on a mercury el ectrode has shown the essential role of the interaction of this polype ptide with water. The result was an alteration of the capacity of the distributed layer and that of the potential neutral charge. The studyi ng of the adsorption of nitrate and phosphate ions in the presence of PAg has confirmed the change of the structure of water and the hydrati on of these ions.
