We make a systematic study of the vortex structure for a d(x)(2)-(2)(y
)? superconductor as a function of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter kappa
=lambda/xi(0) and the angles between the vortex direction and the crys
talline axis. We find, for a vortex lying along the c axis, that the f
our satellite vortices in the induced s-wave component of the order pa
rameter are stable only for large kappa. When lying along the a axis t
he s-wave component presents a structure with a single vortex at the c
entral core and winding number 1. For kappa=infinity we study the cont
inuous evolution of the vortex between these two situations. [S0163-18
