Abstract
The molecule of the title compound, C13H11N3O2, is nearly planar. Ther e is an extended series of pi bonds through the whole molecule. The mo lecules pack in a columnar manner with a 'ring-double-bond overlap' mo de, in which the interplanar spacings are alternately 3.459(5) and 3.5 26 (5) Angstrom.
