The methods for the preparation of supported monolith catalysts contai
ning an active component (V-Ti-O, Cu-Ti-O, CuZSM-5, or CoZSM-5) in the
secondary cover on the surface of monolith ceramic and oxide supports
with the honeycomb structure and their activity in the reactions of s
elective reduction of NOx by ammonia are discussed. Under certain cond
itions of active component formation, the activity of the samples stud
ied over a wide temperature range are comparable to that of bulky mono
lith catalysts obtained by extrusion.
