Abstract
The performances of monolith catalysts for highly exothermic reactions are parametrically investigated by means of a pseudo-continuous, hete rogeneous 2D model. The effect of catalyst design parameters (activity , thermal conductivity, geometry) is shown. The results indicate that monoliths have good potential for the improvement of existing catalyti c processes.
