Bg. Frederick et al., MOLECULAR-ORIENTATION WITH VISIBLE-LIGHT - REFLECTANCE-ANISOTROPY SPECTROSCOPY OF 3-THIOPHENE CARBOXYLATE ON CU(110) SURFACES, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 58(16), 1998, pp. 10883-10889
We present reflectance-anisotropy spectroscopy data for the adsorption
of 3-thiophene carboxylic acid on the clean and O(2 x 1)/Cu(110) surf
aces, which demonstrates the sensitivity to orientation parallel and p
erpendicular to the surface. Electronic structure calculations were pe
rformed to clarify the bonding and assign RAS transitions. [S0163-1829
