M. Dors et J. Mizeraczyk, INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY ON NOX REMOVAL BY CORONA DISCHARGE, Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 48(10), 1998, pp. 1193-1197
The object of this experimental investigation was the influence of tem
perature and humidity on the efficiency of removal of NOx by a pulsed
corona discharge from a mixture N-2:O-2:CO2:H2O:NO simulating a combus
tion flue gas. The pulsed corona discharge was generated in a wire-to-
cylinder reactor. It was found that removal of NO, was most efficient
when H2O concentration corresponded with the saturated vapour pressure
. In the case of the operating gas containing constant H2O concentrati
on removal of NOx decreased with increasing temperature of the operati
ng gas.
