A review is given of the present state of the development and introduc
tion of measuring and control facilities utilizing electromagnetic con
trolling devices. The existence of a broad class of automated faciliti
es with software makes it possible to implant working instruments into
brain structures, to specify their motion, to measure the physical pa
rameters of the tissues, and to control the activity of neuron network
systems of the brain automatically. The biological aspects of using s
uch facilities are discussed.
