Abstract
Mathematical models are presented for the error of quantitative chemic al analysis procedures. The connection is traced out between the error characteristics and the repeatability, intralaboratory reproducibilit y, and interlaboratory reproducibility indices of the measurements. Cr iteria for selecting the error model in developing the procedures are considered.
