Abstract
We perform a diagrammatic calculation of the leading two-loop QCD corr ections to the masses of the neutral CP-even Higgs bosons in the minim al supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). The results are valid for arb itrary values of the parameters of the Higgs boson and scalar top sect or of the MSSM. The two-loop corrections are found to reduce the mass of the lightest Higgs boson considerably compared to its one-loop valu e. The numerical results are analyzed in the grand unified theory favo red regions of small and large tan beta. Their impact on a precise pre diction for the mass of the lightest Higgs boson is briefly discussed. [S0556-2821(98)50121-X].
