Yy. Reutov et Vi. Pudov, COMPENSATION OF FALSE SIGNALS IN A GRADIENT-MEASURING FERROMAGNETIC PICKUP, Russian journal of nondestructive testing, 34(2), 1998, pp. 84-88
The quantitative relations and limitations when compensating false sig
nals in a ferromagnetic pickup transducer for measuring the magnetic f
ield gradient using compensation cores made of permalloy are considere
d. It is shown that for a length of the compensation cores equal to th
e length of the main cores of the ferromagnetic pickup, one can compen
sate the inequality in the conversion factors of the semi-elements up
to 3% and the nonparallelism of the axes of the semielements up to 0.8
angular degrees.
