Abstract
The results are given of a detailed experimental investigation of the effect of dispersed impurity in the form of solid particles on the cha racteristics of turbulence of carrier air for the case of upward turbu lent flow in a pipe. The experimental results demonstrate that all of the employed particles acted to suppress the longitudinal and transver se components of pulsation velocity of the carrier medium in almost th e entire cross section of the pipe.
