STATUS OF ITER R-AND-D IN THE RUSSIAN-FEDERATION

In the frame of the ITER Project the Russian Federation (RF) participa tes together with other Home Teams in carrying out many R and D tasks. At the present time almost all fusion technology R and D in the Russi an Federation is carried out only within the framework of the ITER pro ject. A brief description of the management structure is presented her e. The status and plans for the main directions of work are described, among them magnets, vacuum vessel, blanket and first wall, divertor, power supply system, gyrotons and plasma neutralizer for the NBIS mate rials irradiation.
