Abstract
The main technical features of the IRCH system with a maximum output o f 1 MW (60 s) that was built up for the superconducting Tokamak HT-7 a t ASIPP are described. The system consists of a generator, transmissio n line, impedance matching network, antenna and feedthrough, RF-assist ed vacuum carbonization system, RF-leakage detection system. The recen t activities on expanding the RF designing capabilities and further im proving the system performance are outlined. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
