Abstract
Dicyclohexylammonium 2-diethylphosphonoacrylate reacts readily with a variety of 1,3-dicarbonyl and monocarbonyl pronucleophiles to give the corresponding Michael adducts. Self catalysis in these reactions is p ostulated.
