Abstract
Values of eroding velocities and corresponding critical values of tang ential stresses of snowmelt streams are derived at a stream depth of 1 cm for arable soils of different genetic types with fall tillage, win ter crops, and grasses. A method of converting these values for other stream depths is suggested.
