The diurnal effect of the cosmic rays during the period 15 oct. 1965 - 30 june 1966. b) The equatorial cosmic ray anisotropy and the interplanetary magnetic field

Using the values of the diurnal variation waves, obtained with the method described in part A of this work for the period 15 oct. 65 - 30 june 66, we have looked for possible correlations between the parameters of the interplanetary magnetic field . and the equatorial Cosmic Ray anisotropy in periods of magnetically quiet space. Our attention has been mostly devoted to the study of the morphology of the diurnal variation connected with the evolving magnetic structure of the interplanetary space. Rather big differences from the period Dec. 63 - Feb. 64 have been found. This discrepancy can be attributed to the different phase of the solar activity.
