Abstract
Surfactant cations (A(+)) in aqueous medium with pH 1.0 and in excess of phosphotungstic acid form compounds of A(3)[PW12O40] composition, w hile in the medium with pH 4.5 - A(n)H(7-n)[PW11O39]. xH(2)O acid salt s, all of them having nanoperiodic structures. The parameters of the s tructures are essentially dependent on the surfactant nature as well a s on the type of heteropoly ion.
