Abstract
A new index describing the solar corona activity is defined. This index (called Comprehensive Radio Burstiness Index) takes into account the magnitude and duration of 600 MHz bursts and type II-IV radio bursts. The CRBI is correlated with the solar wind proton parameters observed, near 1 AU, by the spacecraft HEOS-1 and Explorer - 33. The best correlation is found with the kinetic energy flux.
