Abstract
The average time behaviour of a Forbush decrease is found to be dependent on the heliolongitude of the associated solar flare. The Forbush decrease seems to corotate with the sun, that suggesting the existence of closed magnetic lines of force, connected to the sun, which surround the region of interplanetary space involved in the Forbush decrease.
