Abstract
Both the sectional layout and design of the first horizontal White Tig er well are presented. The well was drilled for production from the 23 rd, lower Miocene productive horizon. The paper addresses bottom hole assembly together with drilling conditions for vertical and horizontal hole sections. Drilling performance, diverter and BHA design are docu mented along with the on-line drilling control system based on VNIIBT' s directional drilling software package.
