Applying feedback control to a flyback converter in discontinuous cond
uction mode causes instability by virtue of a jump phenomenon under so
me snubber circuit conditions. In this paper, we clarify this jump phe
nomenon, analyze stability, and discuss circuit constants to avoid the
phenomenon. We propose current-mode control without relying on circui
