MODULATION-SPECTRAL INVESTIGATION OF INHO MOGENEITIES IN OPTICALLY TRANSPARENT MEDIA

A method for recording the distribution of the intensity of the incide nt probe radiation and of the probe radiation after a preliminary know n spatial modulation is proposed and analysed. This method is intended for analysis of the structure of optical inhomogeneities in transpare nt objects. The information obtained makes it possible to determine th e amplitude-phase structure of a function which describes the effect o f an object on the radiation transmitted by it and, consequently, repr esents the structure of this object.
