Abstract
New species Matelea gracieae (Asclepiadaceae) is described and a colle ction of Cynanchum gortsianum (Asclepiadaceae), previously known only from French Guiana, is reported for Suriname. This new record allows f or corrections in the original description of C. gortsianum, which was based on aberrant material.
