Abstract
The apparatus for measuring (by detachment test) adhesion forces betwe en individual fibers is described. The measurement results for cellulo se fibers in water and aqueous solutions of polyethylenimine were cons idered. The forces of friction caused only by molecular interactions b etween fibers, i.e., in the absence of external normal load, were eval uated.
