Abstract
Purpose. To describe a case of bilateral peripheral ulcerative keratit is after Salmonella gastroenteritis. Methods. Case report with descrip tion of treatment and outcome. Results. The peripheral ulcerative kera titis gradually resolved in both eyes after appropriate systemic antib iotic therapy and local ocular care. Conclusion. Peripheral ulcerative keratitis can result as a consequence of infectious gastroenteritis.
