The Raman spectra of single crystalline Y124 samples were recorded bel
ow and above T-c and corrected for the different thermal distribution
by the Bose-Einstein factor. The electronic continuum was obtained by
subtracting the phononic fraction. The normal state electronic Raman s
cattering spectrum exhibits a broad maximum, whereas below T-c we were
able to resolve a fine structure. By subtracting the normal state spe
ctrum two new lines at 28 and 46 meV could be identified, the position
of which is in good agreement with the additional lines observed in t
he reflection spectra below T-c.
