E. Badreddin, ANALOGICAL GATES - A NETWORK APPROACH TO FUZZY CONTROL WITH APPLICATIONS TO A NONHOLONOMIC AUTONOMOUS MOBILE ROBOT, Intelligent automation and soft computing, 4(1), 1998, pp. 3-18
Analogical gates are developed to implement four-quadrant fuzzy-genera
lisation of Boolean logical gates. Networks built using Analogical gat
es are shown to be useful in real-time control of mobile robots. In th
is paper, the usefulness of Analogical gates is demonstrated by means
of three applications: 1) state-feedback controller of a non-holonomic
mobile robot, 2) Command-fusion for a PID-controller with anti-reset
wind-up, and 3) Behaviour fusion of an autonomous mobile robot.
