Abstract
We present conditions, some necessary and some sufficient, valid under weak assumptions, for robust stability and uniform robust stability o f uncertain linear time-invariant systems with linear time-invariant u ncertainties that are block-diagonal, with known frequency-dependent n orm bounds on the diagonal blocks. Small-mu theorems with frequency-in dependent uncertainty bounds are recovered as special cases.
