Abstract
The spin-wave ground state \Psi sw] of the spin-1/2 Heisenberg antifer
romagnet on the square lattice is analysed in relation to Marshall's t
heorems. It is shown that \Psi sw] obeys the Marshall sign rule and is
an eigenstate of S-z to the eigenvalue M = 0, but not an eigenstate o
f S-2.
