Abstract
We prove the existence of positive solutions to the boundary value pro blems Delta u + lambda a(x)f(u) = 0 in Omega, u = 0 on partial derivat ive Omega, where Omega is a bounded domain in R-N, a: Omega --> R may change sign, f(0) > 0, and lambda > 0 is sufficiently small. Our appro ach is based on the Leray-Schauder fixed point theorem. (C) 1998 Acade mic Press.
