Abstract
Reaction of the 1,2,3-triazene Tol-N=N-NH-Tol with MgBu2 or Ci[N(SiMe3 )(2)](2) resulted in deprotonation of the triazene to give the triazen ide complexes 1 and 2, respectively. Both have been characterized stru cturally and are monomeric.
