D. Gignoux et al., A NEUTRON-DIFFRACTION STUDY OF THE LOW-TEMPERATURE MAGNETIC PHASE OF DYRU2SI2, Europhysics letters (Print), 44(3), 1998, pp. 374-378
The low-field, low-temperature magnetic phase of the tetragonal compou
nd DyRu2Si2 is studied by neutron diffraction on a single crystal. The
analysis of all the harmonies of the fundamental long-period commensu
rate propagation vector is consistent with the (40(4) over bar) magnet
ic structure in which one ninth of the moments of the magnetic unit ce
ll vanish. The origin of such a non-usual structure is discussed.
