Abstract
The structure and absolute configuration of omphalotin, a cyclic dodec apeptide isolated from the basidiomycete fungus Omphalotus olearius an d possessing potent and selective activity against the plant pathogeni c nematode Meloidogyne incognita, was determined by a combination of s pectroscopic and chemical techniques.
