Abstract
The sodium salt (NaO)(3)SiC6H4Si(ONa)(3) has been prepared by reaction of the corresponding methoxysilane with an aqueous solution of NaOH a nd was fully characterized by X-ray crystallographic studies, which in dicates the presence of 13 water molecules and one hydroxide group in the crystal structure.
