Abstract
Water soluble palladium(II) complexes of bidentate diamine ligands, su ch as bathophenanthroline disulfonate, are stable, recyclable catalyst s for the selective aerobic oxidation of terminal olefins to the corre sponding alkan-2-ones in a biphasic liquid-liquid system.
