Abstract
A method for determining the time-varying resistance and inductance of a laser discharge is described. The method exploits simultaneously th e voltage across the laser channel and the flowing current in the lase r discharge. The results show strong variations in the resistance and inductance during the formation phase of the discharge while in the ma in phase these cities fluctuate around constant values.
