Abstract
Inelastic scattering of X-rays from the Ag K-shell electrons have been studied utilizing coincidence technique on a third generation synchro tron radiation source. Optimization and the effect of source time stru cture on coincidence experiments are discussed. Comparison with the co nventional X-ray and radioactive sources in coincidence measurements i s made and the future of this technique on synchrotron sources is disc ussed.
