Abstract
Recent scientific and patent literature on therapeutically promising a ntimalarial peroxides is reviewed through to mid-1998. Several of thes e new chemical entities are efficacious and apparently safe antimalari als. Major industrial support is now needed for development of one or more of these drug candidates.
