Excess molar volumes at 298.15 K of the ternary system {CH3(CH2)(2)CO2
(CH2)(3)CH3+ CH3(CH2)(7)OH+CH3(CH2)(6)CH3} and the binary mixtures {CH
3(CH2)(2)CO2(CH2)(3)CH3+ CH3(CH2)(7)OH}, {CH3(CH2)(2)CO2(CH2)(3)CH3+CH
3(CH2)(6)CH3} and {CH3CH2)(7)OH+ CH3(CH2)(6)CH3} were detemined using
an Anton Paar DMA 60/602 densimeter. All experimental values were comp
ared with the results obtained with empirical expressions for estimati
on of the ternary properties from the binary data. Variable-degree pol
ynomials were fitted to the results.
