Abstract
The role of immune complexes in the etiology and pathogenesis of demye linating diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis, is discussed in th e light of numerous observations. It is inferred that a deeper underst anding of the role of immune complexes might provide a basis for preve ntive measures in multiple sclerosis.
