Abstract
Two (IIg)-I-3 states of Na-2 have been observed in the 35000-38000 cm( -1) energy region by pulsed perturbation facilitated optical-optical d ouble resonance (PFOODR) fluorescence excitation spectroscopy and assi gned to the 5d pi and 6d pi (the fourth and sixth according to the ene rgy rank at R-c) (IIg)-I-3 Rydberg states, respectively. Molecular con stants and RKR potential curves are reported. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
