Abstract
Calculated dipole strengths and rotational strengths for microwave tra nsitions in the range of 3-26 GHz are presented for six chiral small m olecules. The molecules are the three chiral deuterated oxiranes, meth yloxirane, trans-dimethyloxirane, and methylthiirane. Transitions whic h appear to be the best candidates for observation of circular dichroi sm in the microwave are identified. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
