Abstract
This paper describes the main statistical characteristics of the propa gation channel in a tunnel of large transverse dimensions, with the ca rrier frequency being near 2 GHz. Theoretical and experimental results on the fading distribution as well as those deduced from a,vide-band analysis are presented.
