Sg. Christoskova et al., LOW-TEMPERATURE METHANOL OXIDATION ON A HIGHER NICKEL-OXIDE IN GASEOUS-PHASE AND AQUEOUS-PHASE - PART 1, Applied catalysis. A, General, 173(1), 1998, pp. 95-99
The oxidation of methanol with a higher nickel oxide has been studied
in gaseous phase as well as in aqueous solutions. Due to its higher ac
tivity the catalyst acts at a lower temperature up to 100 degrees C an
d under mild conditions and the oxidation yields CO2 and H2O (complete
oxidation). Nickel oxide system can be applied in catalytic reactions
of importance for the ecology. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rig
