Abstract
This study uses slag to substitute for up to 50% of cement by weight t o make slag-cement concrete. The specimens were subjected to wet-dry c ycle accelerated test for more than one year. The compressive strength , permeability, electrical resistance, concentration of chloride ions, corrosion potential, and pore size distribution were measured at vari ous ages. The test results show that the slag concrete with 20-30% sub stitution has the best corrosion resistance. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
