Abstract
The FT-infrared spectra of monocalcium monohydrate, Ca(H2PO4)(2). H2O3 have been measured as a function of pressure up to 50 kbar. A phase t ransition occurs at 18 kbar. The Lippincott-Schroeder model for the hy drogen bond has been used to explain the pressure dependence of the vi brational frequencies. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reser ved.
