Abstract
The hexane extract of the whole plant Pergularia extensa N.E. Br. furn ishes a new triterpene ester, lupeol-3 beta-trans-crotonate 1 along wi th the acetates of alpha-amyrin, beta-amyrin, lupeol, oleanolic acid, a mixture of alpha- and beta-amyrins and beta-sistosterol.
