Abstract
Let (M, g) be a compact Riemannian manifold of dimension n greater tha n or equal to 2. First, we study the existence of positive solutions f or generalized scalar curvature type equations; these equations are no nlinear, of critical Sobolev growth, and involve the p-Laplacian.
